Wajdan Ahmed Khan – Assistant Director
Institutional Quality Assessment and Effectiveness (IQAE) – Isra University, Hyderabad.
Mr. Wajdan Ahmed Khan currently serves as the Assistant Director at the Office of Institutional Quality Assessment and Effectiveness (IQAE) at Isra University. Since joining the IQAE team in November 2024, he has contributed actively to institutional quality enhancement processes and academic compliance initiatives.
Mr. Khan brings with him a robust academic background. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Virtual University Islamabad and a Master’s degree from the National University of Modern Languages (NUML). He is presently pursuing an MS degree from Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (MUET), Jamshoro, further strengthening his academic and research expertise. Additionally, he holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Quality Assurance from Hamdard University, a testament to his specialized focus on institutional quality systems.
Before joining Isra University, Mr. Khan served as a IQAE Officer at Jinnah Sindh Medical University (JSMU) from 2023 to 2024. During this time, he was actively involved in enhancing academic program review mechanisms, contributing to accreditation readiness, and managing compliance documentation.
Throughout his career, Mr. Khan has participated in numerous national and international-level trainings and workshops organized by bodies such as SHEC, HEC, and other global QA forums, allowing him to stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices in higher education quality assurance.
A key contributor to the development and submission of Self-Assessment Reports (SARs) for the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Mr. Khan has effectively coordinated with program and assessment teams, managed preparatory activities for external review visits, and ensured institutional alignment with HEC’s Performance Evaluation Standards and Post Graduate Program Review (PGPR) frameworks.
Mr. Khan is recognized for his meticulous approach to documentation, proactive coordination skills, and a strong commitment to academic quality and institutional effectiveness.
