RIPE

The Office of Institutional Quality Assessment & Effectiveness, Isra University, organized a two-day Self-Review of Institutional Performance and Enhancement (Self-RIPE) for the 2024-25 academic year. The event focused on evaluating the university’s performance and identifying key areas for continuous improvement in both academic and administrative operations.

The review panel was led by Prof. Dr. Kamran Khowaja, Director, Office of Research, Innovation & Commercialization (ORIC) and Convener of the panel. Prof. Dr. Asif Ali Shah, Director Mehran University Institute of Science and Technology Development (MUISTD), served as an external member. Other members included Prof. Dr. Syed Faheem, Dean, Faculty of Business Education, Social Sciences & Humanities (FBESS&H), Prof. Dr. Navaid Kazi, Dean, Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences (FAMS), Prof. Dr. Salman Ahmed Kazi, the Chairperson, Department of Forensic Medicine, Prof. Dr. Hassan Ali Durrani, Chairperson, Department of Mechanical Engineering, and Mr. Muhammad Murad Memon Director Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs.

The panel conducted a thorough assessment of the RIPE Report for the 2024-25 academic year, followed by visits to various facilities on the campus. They engaged in constructive discussions with the heads of departments (HoDs), faculty, and students, gathering feedback on strengths and areas for growth.

The event concluded in a formal exit meeting with the Registrar of the University, Mr. Ghulam Rasool Kazi where the panel briefed their observations and recommendations for future enhancements.
The panel commended the dedication of the team that contributed to the report and provided valuable recommendations for enhancing the university’s academic and administrative standards.
